That’s why we’ve built a mentorship program that goes far beyond a quick orientation or a few shadow shifts.

Our Doctor Mentorship Program is thoughtfully designed to help early-career veterinarians grow in confidence, competence, and connection. From your first patient to your first complex surgery, you’ll have the support of a dedicated mentor, a structured plan, and a network of experienced DVMs ready to help you thrive.

Veterinarian Partners’ Doctor Mentorship Program is structured around three key tenets that set our hospitals apart:

    Your mentor is thoughtfully selected and trained to support your development, both clinically and professionally. Behind the scenes, they have access to mentorship advisors who help guide and strengthen the mentorship experience.

    Regular feedback goes both ways—between mentor and mentee—to ensure your learning evolves with your skills and confidence. As your needs change, so will your support structure.

    You’ll be part of a wider mentorship community.
    In addition to local support, you’ll join our Hot Topics virtual discussion series where you can connect with veterinarians across our network. These sessions are casual, collaborative, and designed to give you direct access to seasoned DVMs who have been where you are.
